This picture is the result of composing more pictures made by NASA into one huge picture in order to present who uses energy and how much. Illumination is emphasised in order to get a better insight. The huge difference between the rich and poor countries is clearly visible on this picture. For instance take the closer look on the areas of North and South Korea and it will become more clearer to you why North Korea is trying to make something with its nuclear energy program.
